Kentfield, CA (05/02/17) – “The beautiful thing is, music can be like a time machine. One song-the lyrics, the melody, the mood-can take you back to a moment in time like nothing else can.” ~ Lisa Schroeder
WindChime just welcomed a new senior to our community, one that was born in 1900. Actually, this senior is an upright piano, donated by Karyn Kambur and her mom, Kathy Asfour.
This beautiful piano was expertly moved to its new home by Viking Piano Movers of San Rafael (www.vikingpianomovers.com).
Owner Mark Anderson even played us a tune before leaving. The very next day, students from Saint Raphael School were visiting us as part of an intergenerational program, when one of our residents, Maria, played a few bars which brought smiles to everyone.
WindChime would like to thank everyone who made it possible for us to share the gift of music, especially through our intergenerational programs. #BECONNECTED!
